The Human Genome, SNP’s, and Disease Prevention

The Human Genome Project (HGP) is an international scientific research project with the goal of determining the sequence of chemical base pairs which make up human DNA, and of identifying and mapping all of the genes of the human genome from both a physical and functional standpoint.

Science has advanced such that it is now possible to do detailed genomic testing that can be utilized to provide disease risk assessment based on your specific set of SNP’s (single nucleotide polymorphisms).

A SNP is a variation in a single nucleotide that occurs at a specific position in the genome and causes a variation in expression of the gene in question.

SNPs underlie differences in our susceptibility to a wide range of human diseases and can provide useful information for prevention and treatment.

With your genomic data I am able to generate a disease risk report, epigenetically based nutritional supplement recommendations, and other individualized preventative treatment recommendations.

If you would like to get your genome tested and the results analyzed please email me for further information.

The testing is relatively inexpensive.

Sincerely,

Randy
